A Pittsburgh Story
Originally from Massachusetts, I’ve called the North Hills of Pittsburgh home for over 30 years. I arrived at a time when the city was transitioning beyond its steel industry roots, and its been a privilege to watch it flourish into a hub for technology, healthcare, and education, not to mention a food-lover’s paradise with our growing selection of award-winning restaurants.
My roots run deep here. All three of my children proudly graduated from North Allegheny School District and went on to continue their education and play sports for local colleges (Slippery Rock, John Carroll, and La Roche). My youngest now plays professional baseball in North Carolina. Two of my children are married, and I couldn’t be happier that they’ve chosen to build their lives and raise their families right here in Pittsburgh. (That’s right, I’m a proud grandmother to three gorgeous grandchildren.)
